Presented by Sharon B. Moore
TORONTO (TNW) - The Great Farini Project, a 70-minute masterful blend of dance, theatre and circus by an all-Canadian team, is inspired by the famous Canadian hi-wire walker and Victorian circus entrepreneur, The Great Farini and his nemesis on wire from France, The Great Blondin. Though they were decades-long rivals, they never met. In Moore’s version, they do meet and what follows is a harrowing dance of one-upmanship and an all-out pursuit for excellence in the world of Victorian circus. Blondin and Farini move through a duel of showmanship and a no-holds-barred competition of physical prowess and invention.
