OHL Power Rankings and Three Stars for Week 20

TORONTO - This may just be my favorite time of year, that point of the season in mid-February, where teams really begin to find out if they have what it takes to make a long run this spring, a run that ends in May, at the Memorial Cup tournament in Shawinigan. The teams at the top of each conference will spend the next few weeks trying to prove to everyone else that they are the team to beat this spring, while many others are looking to solidify their own spots, hoping for the best possible first round opponent. There are also a slew of teams who have no guarantee of post-season play this season as of yet, and those teams are in the thick of some serious races in both the east and the west.

OHL Power Rankings and Three Stars for Week 19

TORONTO - With Groundhog’s Day behind us, a look at the calendar tells us that there are only six weeks left in the Ontario Hockey League season. No team looks completely secure in a Conference or Division lead, and, with the exceptions of Erie and Kingston in the West and East respectively, every team still has a chance at post-season play into April. Most teams found themselves hitting the 50 game mark of the season over the last seven days, and as always, we’ll take a look at our weekly OHL Power Rankings, right after we take a look at the OHL Three Stars for week 19. This week, I deferred selection of our weekly stars of the league to our fearless leader at ‘In The O.. The Radio Show’, Brandon Sudeyko.

OHL Power Rankings and Three Stars for Week 18

TORONTO - As we reach the end of January, we find many teams going through the various rigors of an Ontario Hockey League season, some pushing to be considered amongst the league’s elite, while others are beginning to fade, unable to sustain first half momentum. With just seven weeks remaining on the OHL schedule, no team has secured a playoff spot as of yet, and a number of excellent races are shaping up in each conference. As always, we’ll take a look at the ‘In The O... The Radio Show’ Three Stars for the week, along with our weekly Power Rankings.
