As an artist being judged by your fans and peers is one thing, but being critiqued by some of the nations top music critics is a different ball game. The Galaxie Rising Star Award shines the spotlight on talented artists from all over Canada; five in particular. It’s important to note that both sales profit and the amount of airplays are NOT part of the judging criteria, instead the artistry of music is the main assessment.

Timber Timbre-Timber Timbre (Arts & Crafts)
The winner will be announced at the 2010 Indie Awards on Saturday March 13th, and will take home a $5000 bursary.
