Does it matter to you if the city privatizes the libraries? Should some of the 99 branches be closed? Does anyone still go to the library or are we all reading online? Or do you buy all your books at the bookstore?

Do we need libraries?

I could care less if they close a few. My kids can do research for their essays online and ebooks are the future. Even the libraries are moving some books online. If they have to privatize the libraries it's better they do that than privatize the Zoo or the TTC. Councillor Doug Ford said he wouldn't even recognize Margaret Atwood if he saw her. What does that tell you?

I think libraries in Toronto are a great resource for newcomers and people that can't afford the internet. i don't support library cuts in Toronto

Libraries aren't the only resource for newcomers. There are lots of other programs available for them.
