Paul Riley

Paul Riley spent close to ten years as a news reporter and anchor with CBC Television in Halifax and Toronto. He has anchored the news nationally on Newsworld and has covered some of the biggest news stories to affect the province of Ontario such as the Queens Park Riot and the Ice Storm of 1998.

He left CBC to earn a law degree. While studying law, Paul taught Journalism Ethics at Humber College.

As a Toronto lawyer his client list includes; Pulitzer prize winning writers, television stars, professional sports leagues and numerous media companies.

“People still care most about what is in their backyard.”

She then attended Sheridan College, where she earned her post-graduate certificate in Journalism-New Media.  While at Sheridan she became extremely active in the journalism program, hosting Sheridan’s ‘Newslink’ broadcast while also producing the entertainment section of the show. Her strong personality and obsession with everything news, arts and lifestyle-oriented landed her the opportunity to intern at CTV’s Canada AM where she wrote copy, produced segments and assisted in coordinating guest interviews and appearances for the show.

In November 2008 Kathryn began writing and reporting for Martiniboys.com, where she covered all the latest in the fashion, music and entertainment news, and began reporting all the event listings for cities such as New York, Miami, Vancouver, Montreal and of course, Toronto.  Her keen interest in Toronto news and issues was shown while reporting for Rogers TV as one of the hosts for the primetime show, Our Toronto. Kathryn reported on various topics that were of concern to Torontonians, while covering the latest festivals, events and showcases that make this city so exciting.
