When owner Pauline White realized that “there aren’t enough Quality wood furniture shops in Toronto,” instead of settling for what was already available she set out on a mission: The result was Enchanted Teak.
Located at 2138A Queen Street East in the thriving Beaches community of Toronto Ontario, the Enchanted Teak displays an incredible collection of solid wood, handcrafted pieces that in their own right are each a work of art.

The moment you step through the doorway of this enticing shop your senses seem to be awakened by the scent of timber and you can’t help but be conscious of the vivid paintings and images that adorn the walls. Majority of the artwork is courtesy of Pauline's brother-in-law, who, since suffering a brain injury from a car accident, paints a picture everyday.
It’s an oasis, in the middle of the city, letting you forget about the hustle and bustle of life and relax for that little while.

I know when we hear “solid wood” we automatically think expensive, yet, by working directly with the Craftsman from Indonesia, and cutting out all middlemen, Pauline is able to keep her prices affordable for her customers.

From tables and chairs, kitchen cabinets, vanities to tubs; indoor or outdoor, you name it Pauline can have it for you, (that is if it isn’t in stock already)
Whether you see a piece in her collection that would look great in your home: Or you have an idea, picture or sketch of what it is that you are looking for, Pauline can turn it into a reality. (Ready in approx. 4-6 weeks)
When asked about durability, it’s simple “When you make a purchase at the Enchanted Teak; you buy it once,” Pauline says, “It will outlast you!”

Teak itself is a renewable resource, very easy to clean (just some mild soap and water), and maintain (with teak oil). For the environmentally conscience souls you will be pleased to hear, all teak used at Enchanted Teak is specifically grown and harvested for the furniture.
