From the time Amber began her high-school co-op placement program in Fenland Falls; she knew what her future would hold. It was just a matter of time and saving her hard earned dollars so that she could realize her aspiration of owning her very own store.

At 21, Amber left her home town and rooted herself within the Toronto beaches community; Opening up a unique Floral Shop “Cool Green and Shady” at 2012 Queen St. East (just east of Kew Gardens), where it had flourished for the past eight years.

Just last month, Amber decided it was time for a change of scenery and made the grueling uphill trek to its new home at 601 Kingston Rd: (South side just west of Main St.), where she purchased the space now home to Cool Green and Shady.
