TORONTO - Instead of rolling it, they're now rolling in it.
Zdzislaw Modlinski of Toronto, Eugeniusz Borek of Scarborough, and Wlodzimierz Konieczny of Brampton claimed a $50 million LOTTO MAX jackpot on Wednesday, March 16th. No luck of the Irish required. Their winning ticket was for the March 11th draw.
The three close friends have worked at the same bakery together for the past 17 years. They have been buying tickets together since September 2010.
"Two days before the draw, I had a dream that I was pushing a wheelbarrow full of money with two other guys," said Eugeniusz. "The next day, I had a dream that I was opening up a car wash and a gas station and a couple of other small businesses. When I woke up, I thought 'the money is coming, I am sure.'"
The men are still not sure what they plan to do with their new found wealth.
The winning LOTTO MAX ticket was purchased at the Petro-Canada located at 90 The Queensway in Toronto.
